This article is the culmination of three years of project development, research, analysis, and writing. I participated as a research advisor and co-author, with the great team of Fiona Doherty, Michelle Kaiser, Smitha Rao, and Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association farmers. Our findings detail some of the systemic issues facing beginning farmers and the need for more wellness supports for farmers.
